Rates & Insurance

At Therapy & You, we offer several payment options to ensure that our services are accessible and flexible. Whether you're utilizing insurance, therapy bundles, or require a sliding scale option, we are committed to working with you to find the best payment solution.

STANDARD RATES (WHEN NOT UTILIZING INSURANCE)

For clients not using insurance, our standard rates are as follows:

  • Initial Session (for all therapy types - individual, couple): $200

  • Ongoing Sessions (for all therapy types - individual, couple): $175

THERAPY BUNDLES

We offer discounted therapy bundles for clients who prefer to prepay for sessions:

  • 4 Sessions: $125 per session

  • 10 Sessions: $100 per session

For all bundles, 50% of the total cost is due at the time of signing/purchase, and the remaining balance will be due according to our agreed-upon terms. Bundles offer a great way to commit to your therapeutic journey while saving on session costs.

IN-NETWORK INSURANCE OPTIONS

We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • UnitedHealthcare

  • BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS)

  • Optum

For in-network clients, we collect the copay, which is determined by your insurance plan, at the time of your session. We then handle the rest by billing the insurance company directly for the remaining balance.

OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE OPTIONS WITH MENTAYA

For insurances we are not in-network with, we utilize Mentaya to help you leverage your out-of-network benefits. While we charge our full standard rates for services, Mentaya allows you to apply for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits, which can sometimes be as high as 100%. SLIDING SCALE PAYMENT OPTIONS

We understand that financial hardships can make accessing therapy difficult. To support clients in need, we offer a sliding scale based on income. If you believe you qualify, please call us to discuss your options. Proof of financial hardship is required, including:

  • A copy of your most recent W-2 form

  • Your two most recent paystubs

INITIAL SESSION

At Therapy & You, your initial psychotherapy session is designed to provide a welcoming, supportive space where you can comfortably share your concerns. During this session, we'll explore the challenges that led you to seek therapy and discuss your personal background and goals. This conversation allows us to understand your unique needs while covering key information such as confidentiality, treatment expectations, and the therapeutic process. Our priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we begin this collaborative journey toward your mental well-being.

Throughout the session, Therapy & You will delve into your mental health history, personal experiences, and the influences that shape your current life circumstances. Using approaches tailored to your situation, we work together to set meaningful goals and develop a clear plan for progress. This first session marks the start of a partnership focused on helping you overcome challenges and move toward the growth and healing you desire. You'll leave with a better understanding of how we’ll support you in achieving positive, lasting change.

ONGOING SESSIONS

Ongoing psychotherapy sessions are focused on fostering continued growth and addressing the challenges you face. These sessions build upon the foundation set during your initial meeting, allowing for a deeper exploration of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Each session is tailored to your evolving needs, whether you're working through specific issues or developing coping strategies for everyday life. We aim to create a consistent, supportive environment where you can track progress, reflect on insights, and make meaningful changes at your own pace.

As your therapy journey continues, we use various evidence-based techniques to address your personal goals, promoting long-term emotional and mental well-being. We believe that lasting change comes through steady, thoughtful progress, and each session is an opportunity to deepen your self-awareness and resilience.
