How long will I need to be in therapy?
The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some people benefit from short-term therapy, while others may require ongoing support.
Can I stop therapy at any time?
Yes, participation in therapy is voluntary and you can stop at any time. We encourage discussing your decision with your therapist to ensure a smooth transition.
What if my therapist is being supervised by another professional?
If your therapist is under supervision, they will inform you and provide the name of their supervising professional for full transparency.

Currently, we are only offering virtual sessions for all clients. This allows you to receive therapy from the comfort and convenience of your home.
What are the technical requirements for telehealth sessions?
You will need reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone for video. We will guide you through using our secure telehealth platform.
What if there’s a technical issue during a telehealth session?
If technical difficulties arise, we will follow a backup plan that we establish prior to your session, such as rescheduling or switching to phone-based communication.
How is my privacy protected during telehealth sessions?
We use a secure telehealth platform that meets privacy standards. Please ensure your environment is private to maintain confidentiality during sessions.
What are the benefits of telehealth?
Telehealth offers flexibility and convenience, allowing you to attend therapy from any location. It also eliminates the need for travel and can accommodate your schedule during inclement weather or illness.
Can I record my telehealth session?
Recording sessions is not allowed without prior permission from your therapist.

What are your fees for therapy sessions?
Our fees for therapy sessions will be discussed during intake, and we provide options for payment plans or sliding scale fees for those in need. You can learn more - here.
What payment methods do you accept?
We require a valid credit or debit card on file. This card will be charged at the time of service, and you are responsible for keeping this information updated.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
A $70 fee will be charged for missed sessions or late cancellations without 24 hours’ notice except in the case of emergencies.
What is your refund policy?
Fees for missed sessions, late cancellations, and pre-paid sessions are non-refundable. Administrative fees for letters, reports, consultations, or court appearances are also non-refundable once the service has been provided.
What happens if I don’t pay on time?
Payments are due at the time of service. If payment is not received within 30 days, a $25 late fee and interest may be applied. Unpaid balances after 60 days may be sent to collections.

Will my insurance cover therapy sessions
Coverage depends on your insurance plan. You are responsible for confirming whether your insurance covers virtual sessions, as well as any copays, deductibles, or non-covered services. Learn more - here.
Do you accept out-of-network insurance?
If we are out-of-network, you will be responsible for full payment at the time of service. We can provide documentation for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company if applicable.
What information will be shared with my insurance company?
If you use insurance, personal information may be shared with your insurance company to process claims. This information will be kept confidential unless required by law.

Can my therapy services be terminated?
Yes, therapy services may be terminated for reasons such as failure to pay, violating cancellation policies, or inappropriate behavior during sessions.
What happens if I have unpaid balances?
Unpaid balances may be sent to collections if not settled within 60 days. Additional fees may apply as part of the collections process.
How are disputes handled?
Any disputes or disagreements related to fees or services will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation or arbitration. If necessary, legal action may be taken.
